Repurposing content is when we take content and create new presentations with it, in different formats or to target a different audience.
The following are examples of repurposing content:
- Turning a report or white paper into a slideshow presentation.
- Taking the content from a brochure and using it for a Youtube video.
- Using research data to create an infographic in Piktochart.
In this lesson we are going to learn how to repurpose content using free tools such as Audacity, Jing, Piktochart, Prezi and Google Docs.
Read the following article:
Podcasts are audio presentations of content. Audacity is an open-source, free, audio-editing software. Once your audio file has been created, it can be uploaded to the company website or blog. You can also share your podcasts on popular podcast websites such as Audioboo and Soundcloud.
Google Docs allows you to create many file types including documents, spreadsheets and presentations. This lessons is going to focus on presentations. (In a future lesson you will be asked to upload this file to Slideshare and embed it into your website.)
Piktochart is an awesome tool to create infographics. There are both paid and free versions.
